Revlon: Mint Gelato

I have so many problems trying to type "Revlon". Sure enough, every time it comes up "Revlong" and I have to go back. Regardless! Today I have a lovely polish for you lovelies. My mom needed an escort to the grocery store (I move a lot faster than she does) and she bribed me with this!

Revlon's Scented Mint Gelato. It's actually a *tad* greener than it's showing up in my pics. I gather it's from a recent "dessert scented" line that Revlon put out, but HEB had it dumped into a bowl with several other Revlons. Just like they did with the Color Clubs. -_- *sigh*

The formula was on the thin side, but at least it wasn't gloopy! It spread out smooth. It did take a while to fully dry, though. If you look ever so closely at my middle finger you can see where I thought it was fully dry and then went off and did something and smudged it and had to go back over it. :/ Anyway, that's three coats and it's not fully opaque, but the VNL was not enough to drive me bonkers. "How does it smell?!" Lovely! Just like York peppermint patties. :) Smelled so good, even after it dried. Overnight the scent faded a little, but was still noticeable when I got my fingers near my nose.

Now a little bit of "good luck back luck". I'll start with the bad. I've been randomly grabbing The Avengers lottery tickets whenever I have an extra buck at the gas station and so far.... nothing. The Avengers don't like me, I guess. When we got home, however, we checked yesterday's mail and I finally got my heart magnet!

Actually, judging by the last package I got from Hong Kong, this one is right on time. And here's the magnet:

Somehow smaller than I expected, but that's ok. I'm about to try it out on the Nabi Pink (I dug up some change and got a bottle of remover lol) so I'll have a review of it tomorrow! :D *fingers crossed* I really hope it looks better than the eBay picture. If not, then I guess I only have myself to blame. OMG and I was so bad on the internet last night! Started looking up the other Nubar holos on eBay and Amazon and I think that'll be one of my next splurges after the Barry M magnetics and after I get started on the A Englands. Been hoping for a 'discount email' from them, but so far nothing. If I'm really lucky I'll get one around the time I'm ready to order. ;) That would be nice. 90% to $10 on SwagBucks! I'm getting a bit bored with sitting here video-clicking. Even with the afghan to keep me occupied. I think once I get this first one cashed out I'm going to alternate days between that and sims. Maybe I'll even try to save up for the $100 paypal cashout. OMG That would be super awesome. Ok, time to paint! Hope everyone's having a terrific week.

  4. I bought this one yesterday and as much as I liked the colour I think it smells disgusting. It's actually making me feel sick haha
I do agree that it is nice and easy to apply.

    1. Aw That sucks. My mom doesn't like mint either because it makes her sick. Sometimes a strong smelling topcoat will help mask it.
