Afghan Update

Ta-da! Ok, so I had a little problem with my panoramic setting this morning. It looks all stumpy! Fear not! It is still 300 stitches across (I hopefully subtley increased it from the 297 count I was getting) and is now 37 rows up. "Random" and I have never been very good friends, so while this looks like a hodge-podge of changing colors, there are some very definite designs I've thrown in there. Just because I know I could never really pull of a random changing.

Like this giant pink triangle, for instance:

I've also been connecting colors vertically. Helps it look more connected to itself.

This next one is my favorite. A mostly symmetrical design encapsulating the (so far) only bit of white. Just for kicks.

Got a little blue and orange "trapped" inside the purple.

It's not easy spreading out the colors evenly...

My original intent was to switch out colors once I finished a skein, but... The other colors that have the same thickness/texture as these are just way off. So it's looking like these five all around. Maybe. I do still have a long way to go. Maybe I'll find a way to incorporate different ones without making it look too off. Still got a few things on my mind so hair & nail post coming up shortly. Can you believe I'm wearing a skirt? I don't show it, so you'll just have to take my word. ;)
