Aaron Made Masks!

OMG Still here banging away and still nothing through paypal! *gggrrrr* You may have noticed I've switched things around a little. My savings ticker can be viewed through my Stash Page which you can get to by clicking the button above. Which hopefully looks more like a button and less like a banner because I didn't realize it was too big until after uploading it and coding it and checking it out. My computer's a little slow about photobucket changes.... But hopefully it's ok for you! I also got rid of the search bar which wasn't really that good to begin with. On the bright side I can now expand my own archive! Now I'm kind of thinking I want to make a banner for the very top (where "Lizzy's Place" and the description are), but I don't know what I want it to look like. :/ I'll play around with a few things and see what happens. Maybe nothing. Maybe pure awesomeness. Maybe now I'm just rambling because typing makes me feel better in spite of all the stress. Hrm. On to the masks!

Ok, so earlier I shared with you an arm prosthetic that Aaron did and damned if I can't find the post it's in. Sorry. At the time I did mention that he was working on some masks and I would share them when they were done. That I do have. This first one isn't really a mask, it's a prosthetic that's going to be attached to this guy's face as soon as they can coordinate a time to do it and it's going to be part of a bigger costume. I will get pictures (and possibly video) of that when they get around to it. In the meantime, here's a zombie face.

Gross. This second one isn't super in my opinion, but it's what the guy wanted so I guess that's good, right? I know he could have done better if the guy he was making it for didn't keep changing his mind and making rediculous demands. "Dude, we don't have molds for that!" Whatever. It was supposed to be just horns, but they were too big for that so he made the mask part for stability.

Lastly, this one is my favorite. So far. This one is a mask, and was supposed to be a mask. It did evolve as the process wore on, but not insanely so. Just little detail bits here and there. I wish I could really show it to you because he made this one so sturdy! It's like a Halloween mask! I'm used to him doing flimsy prosthetics (they're supposed to be that way so they blend in) so this was kind of a surprise for me. Not that he could pull it off, just... you know... how sturdy it is. LOL

Pretty cool, huh? I ordered him another bottle of latex since he ended up using so much on other people. He didn't mind doing it, but I know he wanted to get more done on the one he's doing for himself. Also, he's still got to do an effect for me! It's going to be simple, but cool. You'll see. ;) Still nothing from paypal.... and it's 5pm so I'm guessing I won't be ordering until tomorrow. *cries* Guess I'll do my nails and then see if I feel like doing a "phone pictures" post or if I'll save that for tomorrow.

    1. Yeah. I can't wait to see it all together. He did that one for that guy that was actually in a zombie movie (which apparently STILL hasn't been released yet) so I'm hoping for some good acting once he gets it on. ;)

  2. He should really be doing movies and tv shows. These sort of remind me of the monsters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
