NYC: Lexington Yellow Stamped

Welcome back. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Yep, today's polish is on the "naughty list", but my ma-in-law gave me a 2-for-1 coupon that I wasn't not going to use and so here we are. Lexington Yellow!

I feel bad saying too many good things about this polish, given their animal testing policies. So I'll keep it simple. It has a smooth formula and dries fairly quickly. This is two coats, so it could have used a third if I wasn't going to stamp on it. As you can see it is a nice, even yellow. Not too bright, not too light, just yellow. It's a good polish, but there are plenty of good (and great) polishes that don't test on animals. And that's the last I'll say about that. For now. lol

I decided on this "Nail Art" (mash?) plate because I wanted flowers and I kinda wanted a full nail design. One of these days I'll get my hands on some Bundle Monster.....

I used Pure Ice: New Lilac to stamp. It didn't come out awful, but it didn't come out as great as I had hoped either. It looks better in the pictures. In real life (in my poorly lit room, at least) it kinda makes the yellow look dirty. :/ One day I'll get the hang of this whole stamping thing.

See? Not too bad, but it could have been better. After this current splurge (Beetlejuice, you know by now. lol) I think I'm going to save up for the 2nd Bundle Monster set. I was going to get the first one first, but the second one is supposed to have bigger full-nail designs. I know they're about to put out a 3rd set, so hopefully the other two will get a little cheaper. *fingers crossed*

I love hearing from you!
