Computer Haikus + Stuff

Okay, first, the stuff. It's still raining off and on. The yard is very spongy (and still covered with poo) and I've almost gotten stuck in the mud in the driveway twice. Almost. It's not near as bad on our end as it was where I got stuck . . . when I got stuck. That part is not too bad since they 'fixed' it. Still pretty muddy, though. Even so . . . I'm kind of missing the sound of the rain hitting the a/c unit. Very relaxing. Also, I finally figured out what was making the internet run so very very slowly! Stupid Norton Live Update was taking up giant chunks of my itty-bitty bandwidth. So, I shut that off and now it's running more like it should. Hurray! Now for the funny 'haikus':

From the Arcamax daily jokes newsletter:
Computer Messages in Haiku

Your file was so big.
It might be very useful.
But now it is gone.

The Web site you seek
Cannot be located, but
Countless more exist.

Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.

Program aborting:
Close all that you have worked on.
You ask far too much.

Windows NT crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
No one hears your screams.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it is not working.
Windows is like that.

First snow, then silence.
This thousand-dollar screen dies
So beautifully.

With searching comes loss
And the presence of absence:
"My Novel" not found.

Wacky Eccentric Intriguing Random Delightful: WEIRD

Gallant Entertaining Enlightened Knowledgeable: GEEK
