Julep: Kai (Tag Team With Norma!)

Howdy, howdy, howdy y'all. hehehehe Trivia time! What do two polishaholics do the first time they meet each other? Pre-coordinate which polish they're going to wear! Naturally. When Norma came through on her way to New Orleans we decided that would be the perfect time to compare Kai, since we both got it on sale recently.

That's... two coats, I think. I've been hanging on to these for a while. The Julep Sea Salt polishes (if they're all like this one) are like your basic cream textures... only lighter. Texture light. We spent about five minutes discussing this and also how dirty it got. We licked our fingers and rubbed at the dirty patches to clean it up for our first ever joint polish picture!!! Which her hubby was awesome enough to pull out the camera for. ^_^

That picture was taken in the Burger King inside the Walmart in Waxahachie, TX. The place where our hubbies kept leaving us to our polish madness to go do man things. lol

There's a close-up for ya. Lovely bright blue color. And some smiles to go along with it.

Fun! ^_^ Was so awesome to go polish binging with a fellow fiend. Hopefully next time we'll get to hit up Sally's and/or Ulta. @_@

Tomorrow I have a very interesting and unique review for bornprettystore, and then Party 'Til The Cows Come Home! Lots of fun stuff going on here. Come on back! (^_^)"/"

  1. Such a lovely blue, makes me think of robin eggs. I love that the texture is not as in your face as some of the other texture polishes.

    1. It was a nice change of pace. If it weren't so expensive it would be perfect for texture-beginners who aren't sure if they'll like it or not.
