BornPrettyStore Neon Leaf Studs

Welcome back! BornPrettyStore was awesome enough to send me these neon leaf-shaped nail art studs* to review and I have been waiting ever so impatiently for their forum to come back online so I could get this typed up. ^_^ I am so excited over these. C'mon! NEON!

I went ahead with two different ideas. On my left hand I've got a variety of designs:

Including this nail showing off each of the different colors that come in the "tin" all together to give you a visual idea of how big they are:

Twelve different colors; they are.... 2mm x 4mm which is kind of tiny for my clumsy fingers. I had to lick the end of my cuticle stick to pick them up and place them on my nails. It was a little frustrating when they would unstick early, but overall not too difficult to place. I just used regular clear topcoat to stick them into and covered them with another layer of topcoat.

My right hand is a more cohesive design that I really like. I applied the studs in a line at kind of an angle so it looks like neon rope french tips. ^_^

Really proud of that one. I chose the most neon colors for that design.

The coolest thing about having neon studs on a black background is getting them under the blacklight!!

That looks much cooler in real life. lol If you want to get your hands on these bad boys they are currently on sale for $5.59! Just Click Here!

  4. Those studs look like such fun! I wouldn't have thought to try them under black light--silly me. I bought a black light lamp especially to be able to admire some of my Halloween polishes but never thought about flaunting my regular neons under it.

    1. *gasp* You should! I've found it works better on neon than trying to charge glow polishes with it. >_>
